My goodness … Christmas fairly wears out your literacies skills!!!
Just think of all that counting (and spending) money; all the cards we write; pressies we label and notes we scribble to ourselves just to keep on top of things. I’m all worn out just thinking about it. Maybe I’ll get me a tutor to help me through the demands of the New Year.
Well, maybe I’m joking, but there are loads of people out there in South Ayrshire who are coping so much better with life because of the help they’ve received through their own literacy/numeracy tutors. I keep saying the Adult Learning Team are totally grateful for all the work our Volunteer Tutors (and our paid ones!) put in, but seeing as it’s the time of year it is, we want to give a proper thank you to all of you. That’s why we’re having
A TUTORS’ OPEN NIGHT
ON TUESDAY 13TH DECEMBER
FROM 5PM UNTIL 8PM
IN THE LEARNING SHOP
Consider yourself invited.
We really want you to drop in, even if it’s only for twenty minutes. We’ve got a little wine, some mince pies, some festive music, a giant Christmas card (don’t ask!!!) three pub quizzes, a free festive raffle, and we can’t find the partridge in the pear tree anywhere.
Come and join us for a little festive frivolity.
